Sonamarg, Apr 07 (KNO): As part of the ongoing Swachhta Hi Seva campaign, a comprehensive cleanliness drive was held on Monday in the picturesque valley of Sonamarg. The initiative witnessed active participation from the Sonamarg Police, Tourism Police, officials from various government departments, and local stakeholders. As per the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), the drive aimed to spread awareness about environmental cleanliness and reinforce the message of "Say No to Polythene" to protect the fragile ecosystem of the region. Volunteers and officials joined hands to clean public spaces and sensitize locals and tourists on the importance of maintaining hygiene and reducing plastic usage. This collaborative effort underscores the commitment of all involved toward building a cleaner, greener, and more sustainable Sonamarg.
